DAPPER CADAVERS
Who said music was dead? - a blast of the trumpet from these stylish corpses from Carmarthen and the graveyard is the dancehall, and ska is king.
Colorama
One barmy evening during the summer of always, a group of renegade minstrels met at a beach hut in Benllech, all with the intended aim of making merry. Among their number were a dysfunctional bassoonist, a disaffected church organist, a disfigured banjo strummer, a disorientated frugal horn player and a distant drummer. Having achieved their aim, they lit a bonfire at Bwlch and decided upon a course of action they would live to forget. They would pool their manifest resources and become... Colorama!

Freshold
Carmarthenshire funk sound with a big hitting mega blast, from rock, soul to hiphop, as the full live band create original raw grooves sweetened by the sound of the 2 soulfully bliss female vocalists and true b-boy attitude dropped into the mix via 2 male rhymesters. Funky bhangra rock brought to you by the Sing brothers, very popular on the festival circuit.
Kissmet was originated by Ron and younger brother Buz Singh in the latter part of the 20th century.
Two Sikh brothers, they had a strong allegiance to Bhangra but their eyes were looking further than that single shored horizon, across the seas to a new shore not ventured to.
They had flirtations fusing English and Punjabi songs together but now wanted to write their own original material.
Tokin4wa
I was born Carwyn Jones from the old port of Porthmadog, when I DJ I'm known as Kim De Bills, but the people who love call me Sir. As well as being a DJ I've also played bass and keys for the Genod Droog for four years and bass for Yucatan. Tokinawa is a an electronic project I've been working on this year, the sounds are influenced by things, people, smells and memories that haunt and affect me every day in my life. Having played in your wonderful festival three times and it's an honour to be play again in 2010 as I feel i have nurtured a relationship over the years. Having now turned into a band the show that we'l be performing for you in the Small Nations Festival will be a collage of sounds, beats and and colourful visuals and will blow your minds. TOKIN4WA comes from an old local sailor's tale in our town about mermaids who used to lure sailors to a watery grave through music. Respect the hoodie, and believe in The Absurd.
